No mandatory lock-up applies to any ethetfi membership tier. Your staked assets remain liquid at all times — you can unstake and withdraw to your wallet whenever you choose. Standard network confirmation times apply during withdrawal processing, typically 1–3 minutes on supported chains.
Yes. You can downgrade your membership tier at any time from your dashboard. The change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Any earned rewards accrued under your current tier are preserved and remain claimable. Note that tier-specific perks — such as higher cashback rates or priority support — revert to the lower tier's terms upon downgrade.
Cashback is calculated as a percentage of eligible spend made via your ethetfi card or on-chain swaps, based on your active tier: 0.5{3aa6fdc91d34d5823b5acd15a57a5ae086b1f6dc4515314ad1b83f3f21aacefd} for Starter, 1.5{3aa6fdc91d34d5823b5acd15a57a5ae086b1f6dc4515314ad1b83f3f21aacefd} for Growth, and 3{3aa6fdc91d34d5823b5acd15a57a5ae086b1f6dc4515314ad1b83f3f21aacefd} for Elite. Cashback is denominated in ETH and credited to your rewards balance within 24 hours of each qualifying transaction. Peer-to-peer transfers and fee payments do not qualify.
ethetfi currently supports ETH, stETH, wstETH, USDC, USDT, DAI, and WBTC for staking and earning. Card spend and withdrawals support ETH, USDC, and USDT. Additional assets are added periodically — check the app for the latest supported list. All balances are displayed in your chosen fiat reference currency (USD, EUR, or GBP) for convenience.
Yes. ethetfi is built on a non-custodial architecture — you retain full ownership of your private keys and on-chain assets at all times. The platform interacts with your wallet through audited smart contracts; ethetfi never takes custody of your funds. You can verify all contract interactions directly on-chain via any block explorer.
APY is generated through Ethereum's Proof-of-Stake consensus layer. When you deposit ETH, it is staked with a diversified set of professional node operators via ethetfi's liquid staking contracts. You receive stETH (or wstETH) that automatically accrues staking rewards. Current network APY fluctuates based on validator participation — live rates are always visible on your dashboard and the Staking & Earn page.
Basic on-chain features — staking, earning APY, and DeFi interactions — are available without KYC. However, accessing the ethetfi Visa card, fiat on/off ramps, and withdrawals above $10,000 equivalent per month require identity verification in compliance with applicable regulations. KYC is completed in-app and typically takes under five minutes.
ethetfi's staking and earning services are available globally, excluding jurisdictions sanctioned by OFAC, EU, and UN regulations. The ethetfi card and fiat conversion features are currently available in 45+ countries across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
